[ARCHIVED] Calle del Ranchero Road Closure Extended

A road closure on Calle del Ranchero, between Reynolds Drive and Cortez Drive, has been extended and is anticipated to be in effect until Aug. 27, 2021, depending on weather conditions.

Utility and road work will be done by Smith and Aguirre Construction Company, Inc. as part of the Las Cruces Utilities Hacienda Acres, Phase II Sewer Improvement project.

Motorists who want to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternate route. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the construction.

For the public’s convenience, crews will work only from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, leaving evenings free of construction activity. The road closure will not affect RoadRUNNER Transit routes.

The City has verified no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time.

The work is in City Council District 6.
