Make beautiful music when the Museum of Nature & Science presents “Saturday Family Science – Harmony” at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6. The program is free
and open to the public.
When
musical notes are combined into a chord, we have a harmony. Explore music
through math and science with the whole family. Work together and use patterns,
fractions, and vibrations to write your own simple rhythm. Then, try out your
rhythm using different notes on our STEAM piano!
“Saturday
Family Science” is offered monthly, encouraging families to work as a team,
problem solve, and experiment through participating in a wide range of STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities led by museum staff and
volunteers.
The
Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N.
Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30
p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For additional information, visit
