[ARCHIVED] City Echoes Department of Health's Recommendation on COVID-19 Testing

Front of City Hall

In an effort to help control the spread of COVID-19 and potential illness, the City of Las Cruces is echoing the recommendation of the New Mexico Department of Health to Get Tested.

The state has issued a Public Health Order to require masks be worn in any indoor setting beginning Friday, August 20 after a sharp rise in hospitalizations for COVID-19 and a dramatic increase in the spread of COVID-19, driven by the highly infectious "Delta" variant in recent weeks.

COVID-19 testing is available to all New Mexico residents at no cost.

A testing site can be found by visiting:  https://cvprovider.nmhealth.org/directory.html or a safe and convenient mail-in COVID-19 test can be ordered by visiting this website: https://learn.vaulthealth.com/nm/.

There are testing sites locally in Las Cruces at:

Curative
7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday
Doña Ana Community College East Mesa
2800 N. Sonoma Ranch Boulevard

Pathology Consultants
7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday

Las Cruces Public Health Office
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday

Masks and vaccines are encouraged to help keep us safe. Please help stop the spread and get vaccinated. You can register to be vaccinated at vaccinenm.org.
