[ARCHIVED] Flagman on Stanford Street

Orange Barrel in the middle of the roadway with vehicles in the background

There will be flagman operations for road work on Stanford Street and the Gillem Lateral starting on Tuesday, August 31. This work is expected to be in effect for two days. The work will be done by Diamond Construction Company as part of Water Main Rehabilitation, Carreon Place, and the Alley North of Picacho. Motorists wanting to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternative route. Access to surrounding residences will be maintained during the construction.
The road work will not affect the RoadRUNNER Transit route. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time. The work activity is in City Council District No.2.
For more information, call the Public Works Department/Construction Management at 575/528-3098. The TTY number is 575/541-2182.
