The Las Cruces City Council will not convene Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 for either a regular meeting or a work session.
The Council is not scheduled to gather because it will be the fifth Monday in August. City Council usually meets the first and third Monday of every month, with work sessions conducted on the second and fourth Monday.
City Council’s next meeting, in Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 N. Main St., will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 7. Because Labor Day, a federal holiday, is on Monday, September 6, City Council will postpone its meeting to the following day.
However, a very brief meeting between the Mayor and City Clerk to set the agenda for City Council’s September 7 meeting will be conducted in Council Chambers at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 30.
