Construction will begin September 6 at the Municipal Electric Vehicle charging station in the parking lot northwest of City Hall.
Access to City Hall will be maintained. The existing charging station will be upgraded to a new Chargepoint CT4000 EV Dual Charging Station. This is the second of seven sustainability projects to support the use of electric vehicles.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
This installation is in City Council District 1. The other installations will be spread out at other municipal sites across the City.
