Join Thomas Branigan Memorial Library twice a month for a mobile book club.

Novices and experienced runners are welcome! We will walk or run and chat about a new book each month.

We are starting with a spooky book for October, The Long Walk by Stephen King. Available with your library card Bluebird Running Company is a specialty running store based in Las Cruces, N.M., owned by Zach and Michelle Gonzalez.

Zach and Michelle are both avid trail enthusiasts who met and fell in love on the trails. Both are experienced road, trail, and ultra-runners who enjoy spending time in the outdoors as much as possible.

Bluebird Running Company supports trail conservation and the protection of public lands for present and future generations. Bluebird Running Company donates to and works with local area non-profits like the New Mexico Rails to Trails Association, Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance, and Friends of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks to give back and additionally support the preservation of state and national parks and national monuments.

On Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 running will be from the Branigan Branch to Bluebird's Running Company's new storefront at 300 N. Main St. Safety lights are encouraged. On Oct. 26, 2021 running will be from Bluebird's Running Company's new storefront, 300 N. Main St., to Branigan Branch. Spooky costumes and safety lights are encouraged
