“Nature & Science Discovery Pre-K: Junior Paleontologists”
Thursdays, 9 - 10 a.m.
Learn about prehistoric carnivores through stories and crafts. “Pre-K” takes place every Thursday at 9 a.m. Register in advance for November by October 23. Recommended for ages 2-5, adult caregiver participation is required. No program on November 25.
“Saturday Family Science – Makey-Makey® Games”
Saturday, November 6, 10 - 11 a.m.
Work as a team to explore circuits and simple coding with Makey-Makey® invention kits. Registration closes October 23. Recommended for ages 6 and up, adult caregiver participation is required.
“STEAMpunk – Walter Lincoln Hawkins, Chemist”
Saturday, November 20, 10 - 11 a.m.
Inspired by chemist, Walter Lincoln Hawkins, participants will explore polymers and make a bouncy ball. Registration closes November 6. Recommended ages 6 and up. Adult caregiver participation is recommended.
“Live Animal Feedings”
Saturdays, November 6, 13, and 20, 11 a.m.
It’s brunch time! Watch and learn how different species of animals eat, and what they eat. Animal feedings take place in the gallery at the Museum of Nature & Science. No registration is required.
“Animal Encounters: Amphibians”
Saturday, November 27, 11 a.m.
Learn about the diverse world of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates and get up close to some of the museum’s residents. Animal Encounters takes place in the gallery at the Museum of Nature & Science. No registration is required.
