[ARCHIVED] Las Cruces Has the Most Caring New Mexicans, According to Insurify.com

NM Caring Residents

Las Cruces residents are considered the Most Caring Residents in New Mexico, according to Insurify.com, an insurance comparison platform on the internet.

Insurify.com’s ratings say 4.5 percent of Las Cruces residents are working in occupations that require the most care and compassion for their neighbors. Those professions include nurses, teachers, therapists, doctors, and others who devote their careers to caring for others.

These workers dedicate their livelihoods to improving the well-being of others. The number of Las Crucens who are in these professions is an average of 12 percent greater than the rest of New Mexico, according to Insurify.com.

In announcing Las Cruces’ selection as the Most Caring City in New Mexico, Insurify.com said that after yet another long year, plenty of Americans are hoping to turn over a new leaf in 2022. As the new year begins, it’s essential to acknowledge all the people across the U.S., that strive day-in and day-out to support the rest of their community members.

Many Americans – including nurses, teachers, therapists, doctors, and more – devote their careers to caring for others, and they have been working harder than ever since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Though these brave citizens reside everywhere, there are certain cities across the U.S. with an abundance of workers who dedicate their livelihood to improving the well-being of others.

Scientists at Insurify.com referred to a database of more than four million insurance applications to determine the most caring city in every state. The cities selected in each state had the highest share of citizens who have demonstrated fierce commitment to giving back to their communities. The most caring occupations in 2022 that have been identified by Insurify.com scientists include caregivers, counselors, firefighters, hospice volunteers, nurse practitioners, physicians and medical doctors, teachers, therapists, and social workers.
