Two positions are currently open on the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library Advisory Board.
A board position is currently available for residents living in City Council District 3. A Member At-Large board position, which is appointed by the Mayor, is also now open.
Branigan Library’s Advisory Board works with library administration to set policies and provide advice and guidance for library services provided to the community. The library will be embarking on a Master Plan process that will begin later in 2022.
City residents serve three-year terms and are appointed by City Council members who represent the district where they live. Library Advisory Board members will be an integral part in determining what library services will look like in Las Cruces for the next five to 10 years.
Residents interested in serving on the Advisory Board can apply at the City’s On Board website: https://onboard.las-cruces.org/board/1241.
