Come join other community members for an easy morning walk and learn about the history of Downtown Las Cruces and the Mesquite Historic District!
The public is invited to Heart and History Walks on the first and third Fridays of every month. The walks begin and end at the west side of City Hall, in front of the main entrance.
These walking tours, of approximately 40 minutes, alternate between Las Cruces Downtown and the Mesquite Historic District.
The walks began June 3 and will continue through August 19. Walks will begin at 7 a.m., with a departure from City Hall at 7:10 a.m. and a return by 8 a.m.
Participants will need to sign a release waiver. Unless they are service animals, participants are asked not to bring their dogs.
