New service rate increases for the South-Central Solid Waste Authority (SCSWA) will go into effect Friday, July 1, 2022.
Las Cruces customers who have curbside recycling will see their monthly bill increase slightly to $7.65 from $7.50. The Price-Per-Ton charge at the Amador Transfer Station will increase to $64.14 a ton, and the minimum flat-rate fee at the Amador Transfer Station will be $7.31.
The new, updated service rates will apply to the Amador Transfer Station, Corralitos Regional Landfill, and Chaparral Transfer Station. A complete list of SCSWA’s new rates is available online at https://www.scswa.net/195/Current-Service-Rates, or by clicking here.
