As part of the 2021-2022 Crack Seal Maintenance Project throughout Las Cruces streets, some city streets will temporarily have lane closures beginning today, Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
The following affected streets include:
- Sierra Bella Place: From Calle de Sierra to Sierra del Sol Avenue. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Vista de Oeste Place: From Sierra Bonita Avenue to Sierra del Sol Avenue. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra de Luna Place: From Calle de Sierra to Thurmond Road. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Calle de Sierra: From the end of the pavement to Sierra de Luna Place. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra Alta Place: From Sierra del Sol Avenue to the cul-de-sac. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Concho Place: From Sierra del Sol Avenue to the cul-de-sac. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra Linda Court: From the cul-de-sac to Sierra Bonita Avenue. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra de Oro Place: From Sierra Bonita Avenue to Vista Belleza Avenue. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra Ventana Avenue: From Sierra de Oro Place to north Sonoma Ranch Boulevard. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra Bonita Avenue: From the cul-de-sac to Sierra de Oro Place. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Camino Verde: From Vista de Sobre Drive to Sierra Luz Drive. That work will be in City Council District 5.
- Sierra Prado Court: From the cul-de-sac to Sierra Luz Drive. That work will be in City Council District 5.
The work is estimated to take five working days to complete.
For the public’s convenience, crews will work only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, leaving evenings free of construction activity. Temporary lane closures will not go into effect until the morning rush hour has ended and will be removed before the afternoon rush hour.
Motorists who want to avoid possible delays are encouraged to seek alternate routes. RoadRUNNER Transit routes will not be affected.
