S. Locust Street will be closed from Bellemah Drive to East Idaho Avenue starting Wednesday July 27, 2022. A-Mountain Construction will be doing the work as part of the City of Las Cruces 2021-2022 Pavement Replacement Project. The work will include new ADA ramps and removal of existing asphalt and installation of new asphalt. This work is anticipated to take 14 days to complete. During construction, access to S. Locust Street will not be permitted to through traffic. Detours and signage will be present directing traffic around the work zone.
Motorists wishing to avoid possible delays are encouraged to seek alternative routes. RoadRUNNER Transit Routes will not be affected.
