Saturn Circle residents could experience low water pressure and/or discolored water between the hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Tuesday, July 19, 2022, through Friday, July 29, 2022.
This will enable the City of Las Cruces Water Department/Meters, Valves, and Hydrants (MVH) to establish the limits for a water outage on Saturn Circle so City crews can replace two fire hydrants on that street.
Adjacent areas also could be affected.
Residents might notice discolored water due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, City officials recommend waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry.
The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, residents should flush all faucets in their house for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call the City at 575/526-0500 for assistance. The TTY phone number is 575/541-2182.
