Due to an error in processing ACH/EFT payments, 185 Utility customers had an additional payment withdrawal from their bank accounts. This error has been resolved and each affected customer is receiving a refund via the ACH/EFT process to their bank accounts.
Las Cruces Customer Central is working with the City of Las Cruces Cashier’s office to notify affected customers and initial notification was sent through the Las Cruces Utilities Mass Notification system, via text and/or email.
