Adults and teens, join La Piñon Sexual Assault Recovery Services at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, to learn about healthy relationships and primary prevention education.
Primary Prevention Education's focal point is preventing sexual violence before it occurs. The prevention program at La Piñon provides outreach that seeks to increase awareness, knowledge, and change attitudes and behaviors that promote sexual violence.
One of the program's main goals is to create change that will prevent sexual violence. The presentation will include creating posters to be placed around the community to help spread information on preventing sexual violence.
This program is part of the library’s month-long Read-a-Romance Series.
