[ARCHIVED] Love and Regency Dandy

Love and Regency

From “Pride and Prejudice” to the current “Bridgerton” craze, it seems like Regency romances are having a revival.

Join us at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27 in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., for a presentation on “Love and the Regency Dandy: fashion, fun, and flirtation in Regency England.” Learn about how real-life young members of the gentry and aristocracy spent their time in the 1820s and the high point of 19th-century male fashion culture.

This program will be presented by Jamie Bronstein, Ph.D., Professor, Department of History at New Mexico State University.
