Mid-term elections are coming up Nov. 8, but do you know what is true and false about elections?
Join us at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., to hear from Lindsey Bachman, Chief Deputy Clerk for Doña Ana County, on election misinformation and disinformation.
The county election team says, “It can be hard to sort through everything we hear and see about elections. Even knowing the difference between misinformation and disinformation can be confusing.”
Lindsey Bachman will be presenting on the Doña Ana County Clerk’s webpage “Matter of Fact,” built to help voters stay informed and up to date on information that can be hard to navigate. Join us to learn about election facts and how to navigate rumors.
