The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department presents Las Cruces Parks and Social, an adult only walking event on Thursday evenings with fun themes and great music.
This program is free to all participants. We will visit different parks throughout the city and engage in social walking from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
The schedule of programs are as follows:
September 8 – Mesilla Park, 400 Bell Ave., Red, White, and Blue Day.
September 15 – Sam Graft Park, 4230 Sedona Hills Parkway, Tackle Kids Cancer Day.
September 22 – Young Park, 860 S. Walnut St., National Hobbit Day.
September 29 – Sagecrest2454 Park, 489 N. Roadrunner Parkway, World Heart Day.
October 6 – Klein Park, 155 N. Mesquite St., National Mad Hatter Day.
October 13 – Pioneer Woman’s Park, 500 W. Las Cruces Ave., National M&M Day.
October 20 – North Las Cruces Park, 1001 Valley Ave., Suspenders Day.
October 27 – La Lloroña Park, 3491 W. Picacho Ave., Costume Walk.
Online registration opened Tuesday, Sept. 6 and is ongoing. Maximum of 20 participants per program. Register online at https://www.las-cruces.org/play, click on the online registration link, then click on Adult Programs.
Walk-in registration is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday at Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.
