[ARCHIVED] Out-of-School Time – Fall Break Camp

Out of School Camp

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer a 10-day Fall Break Camp that will continue to provide enjoyable and dynamic fall fun indoors and out, with hands-on activities, crafts, and active games for all ages.
 
The Fall Break Camp is for youth in grades kindergarten through fifth grade (K–5) and will be at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. The dates are Sept. 26 to Sept. 30, and Oct. 3 to Oct. 7, Monday through Friday. Camp hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
 
There will be no cost for this camp.  Costs may be required for any field trips. Fees will be announced before any field trip dates.
 
Registration for the Fall Break Camp is from Thursday, Sept. 15 to Wednesday, Sept. 21 and can be completed online at www.las-cruces.org/play or during regular business hours at the following locations:

  • Parks & Recreation Department Administrative office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday.
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave., 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave., 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

*Space is limited, first-come first-serve*
