Summer II Studio Programs

Register in-person from April 11, 2023, to July 1, 2023, for July summer studio classes. Adult classes offered are acrylics and watercolors.

Education Station: Andre Derain

Explore art as a family! Dive into art through projects inspired by individual artists, art movements, or other fun art topics. Kits are available for pickup on the second Saturday of the month while supplies last. All ages are welcome.

Artventurous: Origami

Explore a topic from a current or recent museum exhibition through a fun, family-friendly art project. This is a drop-in program and supplies will be provided. All ages are welcome.

Animal Feedings: Snakes

What we eat is important to our health, and for the animals in the Nature Center it's no different. Learn about the enrichment activities we use during mealtimes and more while you watch them display their natural instincts. Now let's eat! No registration required. All ages welcome.

STEAMpunk---Ritu Raman, Bioengineer

Discover the stories behind science heroes who break barriers and explore the applications of their research through hands-on experiments and activities. Rita Raman is a bioengineer who makes machines out of living cells. Inspired aby her work we'll make a model mechanical hand using common materials. No registration required. Recommended for ages 6 and over.

Dino Train

Come by the museum for engaging gallery activities made just for kids! Become a conductor and control our new interactive model train: The Santa Fe Chief! Afterwards, play interactive games and test your knowledge. Drop-in: No registration required. All ages welcome.

Adult Dungeons And Dragons

Adults, join the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library for Dungeons and Dragons! Make some new friends and go on exciting adventures, while playing Dungeons and Dragons at your Library! Whether it's your first time playing a role playing game or you're a seasoned adventurer, we invite all adults to participate!
